This study aims to find out how the concept of savings in form wadi'ah contract practices Savings Products at Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Tangerang Balaraja, before merger BSM with other Islamic banks. The safekeeping goods or money between party who owns and is entrusted aim maintaining safety, security, integrity allowed. explained by DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 01-02/DSN-MUI/IV/2002 that demand deposits (without deposits) are allowed using wadiah contracts. method used this research qualitative, in-depth interview data collection techniques content analysis. findings practice contracts fulfilling provisions DSN MUI fatwa also complying applicable legal rules. However, exists still not fully understood customers, certainly affects performance BSM.
